Nokia C20 Plus Officially Confirmed To Launch On June 11

A few days ago, reports suggested that Nokia is now planning to bring the Plus version of its Nokia C20. Even the device has visited many certification sites with basic specifications. But, today, the company has officially confirmed the existence of the upcoming smartphone.

This morning, Nokia China has officially announced (on its Weibo account) that the all-new Nokia C20 Plus will be launched on June 11 at 10 AM (Chinese Timing) in an online event. The officials further mentioned, “Make it simple and easy to use, go further! Unlock new skills for one-click direct access!”

Nokia C20 Plus Launch Poster

In the launch poster, the backside appearance of the Plus model can also be seen. It is observed that this model features a Dual Camera setup in a circle-shaped camera module, unlike the standard Nokia C20, which comes with a Single Camera. On the left of the camera, there is an LED Flash as well.

The phone seems curved from edges at the backside, plus it got the same plastic material as the standard version has.

As per previous leaks, the Nokia C20 Plus is confirmed to feature the same old chipset Unisoc SC9863A, based on the 28nm manufacturing process (used in Nokia C20). It consists of 8x Cortex-A55 cores in which the first four are clocked @1.6GHz, while the other four clocked @1.2GHz.

The new Plus model will also be equipped with a bigger RAM of 3GB, while the standard model comes in 1GB and 2GB RAM variants. From some sources, it is also reported that it will feature a bigger battery, this time, maybe around 5000mAh. Like Nokia C20, this model will also lack a fingerprint scanner.

Rumors suggest that Nokia might also launch a new model Nokia C30 along with the Nokia C20 Plus. For complete information, we have to wait until June 11.
