Redmi 10X with Dimensity 820 5G got 400000 scores on Antutu

This afternoon, MediaTek officially launched the Dimensity 820 chipset. Lu Weibing, Vice President of Xiaomi Group and head of the Redmi brand, was also invited to attend the launch event.

At the launch event, he announced that Redmi will launch the Redmi 10X, which will be powered by the Dimensity 820 5G chipset. The Redmi 10X will be the first phone using the chipset, which has already scored 409,449 points in the AnTuTu benchmark.

We also conducted benchmark tests on the Redmi 10X engineering prototype. It scored 409,449 points in AnTuTu, while in GeekBench, it scored 646 points in the single-core test and 2529 points in the multi-core test.

According to the mobile SoC performance rankings, the Dimensity 820 currently ranks 16th overall, surpassing the Snapdragon 765G, slightly higher than the Kirin 820, and close to the Kirin 985. Especially in multi-core performance, its performance is enough to enter the top ten.

The Dimensity 820 5G is manufactured on a 7nm process and features eight cores. The first four performance cores are ARM Cortex-A76 at 2.6 GHz, while the other four cores are ARM Cortex-A55 at 2.0 GHz.

The official statement claims that its single-core performance is 7% higher than the Snapdragon 765G, and its multi-core performance is 37% higher. The Dimensity 820 processor has a Mali-G57 MC5 GPU and uses the same Valhall architecture as the Dimensity 1000+.

The Dimensity 820 features the world’s most advanced M70 5G modem, supporting NSA/SA dual-mode 5G networks, dual 5G SIM standby, and 5G dual carrier aggregation technology, and is also equipped with the latest UltraSave 5G power-saving technology. MediaTek claims that the Dimensity 820 outperforms the Snapdragon 765G in both power consumption and speed.

This chip supports MediaTek Imagiq 5.0 image processing technology, features a quad-core HDR image signal processor, supports up to 80MP multi-camera combination, and enables multi-frame 4K HDR video shooting.

This chipset features the MediaTek MiraVision image quality engine and supports up to a 120Hz refresh rate. It also supports HyperEngine gaming technology for an enhanced gaming experience.
