On September 14, Xiaomi announced that the Redmi G gaming notebook 2021 will be released on September 22.
The Xiaomi Notebook Weibo account posted: “Redmi’s brand mission is to popularize high-end products, and to be an invincible high-performance light chasing game notebook of the same grade, so that every gamer who loves games can enjoy high-quality ray tracing game experience, which is the new goal of the new generation of Redmi G gaming notebook.”
The ray tracing can achieve more realistic shadow and reflection effects while also greatly improving translucency and scattering, resulting in a more realistic scene effect similar to what the human eye sees.
Ray tracing technology delivers a better gaming experience in NVIDIA RTX 20 series graphics cards. Unsurprisingly, the Redmi G Gaming Laptop 2021 should have an RTX 30 series graphics card. The entry variant should have an RTX 3050, and the high-end variant might have an RTX 3060 or even an RTX 3070.
The Redmi G Gaming Notebook 2021 pre-order page is now live on Jingdong Mall. The page shows that the laptop is available in Ryzen and Intel versions. Other hardware specifications include a 1080P screen, 64GB RAM, and a 512GB SSD.
The Redmi G gaming notebook 2020 is Redmi’s first gaming notebook. It uses a 16.1-inch 100% sRGB screen, a 10th-generation Intel Core i5-10200H processor, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti high-performance graphics card (4GB GDDR6 video memory).
