This evening, Ice Universe revealed the specifications of the Samsung Exynos 2400 chipset. According to the mentioned specifications, the new chipset could be a real game changer for the smartphone industry.
According to the blogger, the Exynos 2400 will have the following cores: one Cortex-X4 super core, five Cortex-A720 cores, and four Cortex-A520 cores.
The blogger also mentioned that this information comes from a reliable source. We can expect other chipset manufacturing companies to upgrade their core architecture from 8 cores to 10 cores in their upcoming chipsets as well.
It is worth mentioning that Samsung skipped the production of flagship chipsets this year. And now, Samsung seems to be moving towards even greater innovation. We can also expect a significant improvement in benchmark scores for next year’s flagship series.
Samsung is unlikely to use the chipset in its upcoming foldable devices, such as the Galaxy Z Fold5 or Z Flip5. Most likely, the Galaxy S24 series will feature this chipset. However, it is also possible that Samsung will use this chipset in limited quantities, which means that smartphones with the Exynos 2400 will be produced in limited quantities. We have already seen a similar trend in the Galaxy S22 series.
