Samsung Exynos 2400 Specifications Revealed

A few days before, Samsung had launched its all-new Galaxy S23 series in which every model was powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset. However, it seems that Samsung might have started working on its future models as new leaks are being revealed.

This evening, the famous blogger @Ice Universe (on Weibo) revealed the expected specifications of Samsung’s upcoming flagship chipset “Exynos 2400.” As per the mentioned specifications, Samsung’s new flagship chipset could be a true game changer in the smartphone industry.

According to the blogger, the new Exynos 2400 will have the following cores: 1x Cortex-X4 Super Core, 5x Cortex-A720 Performance cores (2 of them would be set at high frequency and the rest 3 have lower frequency). In the end, we have 4x Cortex-A520 Energy-Efficient Cores.

The blogger has also mentioned that this information is from a reliable source. And because of this, we can expect other chipset manufacturing companies (like Qualcomm and MediaTek) to upgrade their core architecture from 8-cores to 10-cores in their upcoming chipsets.

It is worth mentioning that Samsung has skipped the manufacturing of this year’s flagship chipset. And now, it seems that Samsung is moving toward bigger innovations. We can also expect a huge performance change in benchmark scores for Samsung’s next year’s flagship series.

It is also worth mentioning that Samsung is very unlikely to use this chipset in its upcoming foldable devices like Galaxy Z Fold5 or Z Flip5. Most probably, the next year’s (most probably) Galaxy S24 series will feature this chipset. However, it is also possible that Samsung might use this chipset in a limited number, which means that the Exynos 2400 powered smartphone would be manufactured in a limited quantity, the same we have already seen in the case of the Galaxy S22 series.

Currently, there is no other information except this. But after this major news, we are expected to see an upward trend in the leaks industry.
