Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 battery got 3C certification, with 2215mAh + 2060mAh dual battery

According to reports, Samsung is about to start production of its upcoming foldable phone. Rumors suggested that the company may abandon future models of the Note series. Some of the latest news about the Fold3 has recently been revealed.

Today, the Galaxy Fold3 battery capacity was revealed in the 3C certification. The device will feature a dual-battery with a total capacity of 4275 mAh (2215 mAh and 2060 mAh), which is lower than the Galaxy Z Fold2’s battery capacity.

Reports indicate that the reduced capacity may be due to the new folding structure, which compresses the Galaxy Z Fold3’s internal space. Battery life is also expected to be impacted.

UPDATE: According to Ice Universe, the Galaxy Z Fold3 will be powered by a Snapdragon 888 chipset and will be 13g lighter than the Galaxy Z Fold2.

Previously, it was also reported that the Galaxy Z Fold3 has the model number SM-F926. The device will also be dust and water-resistant, but the IP rating is currently unknown.

Some leakers claim that the Z Fold3 will use a Snapdragon chipset rather than a Samsung Exynos chipset. The Z Fold2 also comes with a Snapdragon 865+ chipset.

The Galaxy Z Fold3 is expected to launch in July alongside the Samsung Z Flip3. The price of the two phones could reach $2,000. In addition, Samsung will not be launching any other foldable phones this year.
