1. To replace the fan on ProBook 650 G4, please shut down your laptop and remove all the screws securing the bottom cover. Using a plastic tool pry the bottom cover up to remove it
2. Disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard.
3. Loosen the Phillips screw that secures the optical drive to the laptop and slides the optical drive out of the laptop.
4. Loosen two screws and disconnect the fan cable from the system board.
5. Now you can take out the fan.
