The 6th generation 14-inch EliteBook includes two models, the EliteBook 840 G6 and the EliteBook 745 G6. The EliteBook 840 G6 features the Intel's Whisky Lake Core processor. There are i5-8265U, i5-8365U, i7-8665U, and i7- 8665U optional. The EliteBook 745 G6 features an AMD processor. There are Ryzen 3 PRO 3300U, Ryzen 5 PRO 3500U and Ryzen 7 PRO 3700U optional.

The HP EliteBook 745 G6 is an upgraded version of the EliteBook 745 G5. The main upgrade is the processor from the Ryzen 7 Pro 2000U series to the 3000U series, so it is consistent in terms of mold process and appearance. EliteBook 745 G6 adopts aerospace-grade aluminum all-metal body, which is integrated by CNC technology. It is stronger and more wear-resistant than traditional magnesium-aluminum alloy and carbon fiber.

The EliteBook 745 G6 is equipped with a 14-inch IPS wide-angle matte high color gamut full HD screen with a brightness of 400 nits. The display is also a good level in the business laptop.
