This is a brand new CPU fan for HP Elite Dragonfly G1 and Elite Dragonfly G2. Please note that these two laptops use different fans, please select your laptop model from the drop-down menu.

3. The fan for Elite Dragonfly G2 does not include the heatsink, you can install it on your original heatsink.

CPU Fan for HP Elite Dragonfly G1 G2 L74084-001 M42267-001 Tips:

1. Please remove the existing fan from your laptop to compare part number, photo, and description.
2. To replace the fan, you have to remove the bottom cover and remove the battery from your laptop.
3. Disconnect the fan cable from the motherboard and remove the four Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screws and three Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screws that secure the fan to the laptop.
4. Please note that after removing the old fan, please use a cleaning cloth to remove the thermal grease on the CPU and GPU, this is to better improve the thermal conductivity.
