In February 2021, Lenovo officially launched the Thinkpad T14 Gen 2 new laptop. It will continue the previous 1.8 mm keystroke keyboard design, retain all the ports of last year’s version, and still use the old abrasive mold. However, it has many upgrades in terms of processor. It is equipped with 11th generation Core and Ryzen 5000 processors.
Thinkpad T14 Gen 2 will adopt the new color “Storm Grey”, and the graphics card can choose Nvidia GeForce MX 450. The Intel version is equipped with Thunderbolt 4 port and Wi-Fi 6E network card.
The new laptop will provide a 4K UHD screen for the first time, and it will no longer provide a TN HD (1,366 x 768) screen. It will be available in March 2021, and the AMD version of T14 Gen 2 will be available later in May.
At present, Lenovo has revealed the prices of these two notebooks. The AMD version of T14 Gen 2 starts at $1159, the Intel version T14 Gen 2 starts at $1379.
