Last month, Tecno launched the Pova 6 Pro. This smartphone targets the mid-range market and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset. The latest industry news indicates that the company is planning to release another new phone in this series.
This morning, the Tecno Pova 6 Neo (TECNO-LI6) was listed on the Google Play Console. It is expected to be the second device in the Tecno Pova 6 series.
The listing shows that it will be powered by the MediaTek MT6789V/CD chipset. This chipset is the Helio G99, which is manufactured using a 6nm process. It has two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz, and integrates a Mali-G57 GPU.
This smartphone features a single punch-hole screen and may use an AMOLED panel. Smartphones that typically come with an LCD screen often include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, but this phone does not appear to have one. Instead, it may use an under-display fingerprint scanner, which is a standard feature in AMOLED displays.
The certification mentions that this display supports a 2460 x 1080 resolution and a 480 DPI screen density. It also mentions that the smartphone has 8GB of RAM and runs Android 14.
Currently, there is no additional information available about the Tecno Pova 6 Neo. However, the company is expected to make an official announcement in the coming days.
