The ASUS ROG Gaming Phone 3 has been leaked for a long time. Additionally, the phone has been certified by several websites. On June 11, the phone received 3C certification.
According to 3C certification information, ASUS Computer Inc. has submitted a certification application. The upcoming gaming phone has the model number ASUS_I003DD and supports 5G network functionality. It also supports 30W fast charging.
It is also reported that ASUS co-CEO Xu Xianyue has already said that the ZenFone 7 and ASUS ROG Gaming Phone 3 will be launched between the end of the second quarter and the beginning of the third quarter of 2020.
According to leaked information, the gaming phone is expected to feature the Snapdragon 865 5G processor. The phone has been revealed twice on Geekbench. The first time, it had 8GB of RAM, and the second time, it had 12GB of RAM. In both tests, its single-core score was approximately 900, and its multi-core score was around 3,000. Both test devices were running the Android 10 system.
According to more sources, the phone will use a USB Type-C port with support for 30W fast charging. It may feature a Quad-HD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The phone has been certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance and EEC, and its model number is exactly the same as ASUS_I003DD in the 3C certification.
ASUS has not officially announced the gaming phone. However, the phone is expected to be released soon, as 3C certification always indicates that the launch event is approaching.
