It is reported that ASUS will launch a new laptop in the ROG Zephyrus series, the ROG Zephyrus M16 GU603H. Today, this laptop was launched with flagship-level specifications.
The ROG Zephyrus M16 has made many improvements in design and specifications compared to the ROG Zephyrus M15. This gaming laptop features a 2K WQHD (2560 x 1600) display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a narrow bezel design.
This display has a refresh rate of 165Hz, a response time of only 3 3ms, and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The screen’s peak brightness reaches 500 nits, is PANTONE certified, and supports Dolby Vision. It also features an automatic refresh rate adjustment function, and the integrated display mode can effectively reduce power consumption.
This new laptop has a 94% screen-to-body ratio and supports a 180° opening. Overall, it has a light and thin appearance. The chassis is made of magnesium-aluminum alloy. The thickness is about 19.9 mm, while the weight is only 1.9kg.
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 is powered by an Intel Core i7-11800H processor, manufactured using the 10nm SuperFin process. This processor has a main frequency of 4.6 GHz and a power consumption of 70W.
This laptop features an RTX 3060 graphics card, which can deliver 95W performance under the ROG Boost overclocking engine, enabling overclocked output.
For gaming laptops, good cooling performance is crucial. This laptop features six heat pipes and four air vents and uses liquid-metal thermal for efficient heat dissipation.
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 GU603H supports both DC and PD power charging. The laptop has a Thunderbolt 4 port and an HDMI 2.0b port, supporting 4K@60Hz output, and features a 90Wh battery that can provide up to 16.6 hours of battery life.
It also comes with a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD, dual-channel 16GB DDR4-3200 memory, and an additional M.2 NVMe slot.
The laptop starts at CNY 9,999 ($1564) with the above storage configuration. It is now available for pre-order and will officially go on sale at 12:00 AM on June 1 (China Time).
