The L-shaped LEDs and dot matrix layout on the back are highly recognizable. It is worth mentioning that the top of the car is also equipped with LiDAR.
The U8 adopts a new design language in BYD’s history. Inside the car, there are two screens. The large screen in the middle adopts a mosaic style, and there is also a large screen on the co-pilot’s side. This EV will adopt a 7-seater layout (2+2+3).
The Yangwang U8 is equipped with an all-new Easy Sifang power system, which has four wheels and four motors. The single motor can provide a maximum power of around 220-240kW and a maximum torque of 320-420Nm. It also features excellent capabilities, including the ability to turn in place and control tire blowouts.
It is also worth mentioning that this EV also features a blade battery and a no-load bearing body.
