Honor Play 7T Officially Coming on March 28

Before the end of March, Honor is looking forward to releasing an entry-level model in its Honor Play 7 series that hasn’t been revealed. The new model would be the successor of Honor Play 6T, another entry-level model powered by a Dimensity 700 chipset.

This morning, Honor (on Weibo) officially announced that its all-new Honor Play 7T would be launched on March 28. In the official announcement, the company has also revealed the device renders and its basic specifications.

Starting from the display, the new Honor Play 7T features a water-drop notched LCD Display sized around 6.74 inches and supports HD+ (1600*720p) resolution and 90Hz refresh rate (as reported).

On the backside, there is a dual-ring camera module in which both rings contain a single camera lens. Regarding the battery, it is officially revealed that this model would feature a 6000mAh larger battery in addition to 22.5W charging. It is worth mentioning that the charging power isn’t officially confirmed yet.

The official announcement also mentioned that this model would be available in the 8+256GB Storage variant.

As per sources, the new Honor Play 7T would be powered by the Dimensity 6020 chipset, a new addition from Mediatek in its entry-level SoC category. The chipset is based on a 7nm manufacturing process and features 2x Cortex-A76 P-Cores (@2.2GHz) and 6x Cortex-A55 E-Cores (@2.0GHz).

It is also reported that the all-new Honor Play7T will be available in two storage variants: 8+128GB and 8+256GB. While in terms of coloring, the following options would be available: Titanium Silver, Magic Night Black, and Charm Sea Blue.
