Samsung has also been known for producing some cost-effective devices in the past. Last year, the company launched the Galaxy A12, which became famous in the entry-level market due to its innovative design and advanced features. The company seems to be working on the successor to this device.
This morning, a new battery module with the model number EB-BA136ABY was listed on the 3C certification. Based on its model number, we can easily confirm that this 4900mAh battery belongs to the unannounced Galaxy A13 5G.
The Galaxy A13 5G will feature a 4900mAh secondary Lithium-Ion battery, and the capacity will remain the same as last year’s device. It is worth mentioning that Samsung SDI Company Limited is the applicant for this certification.
The Galaxy A13 that received the certification is the 5G variant, and we expect it also to have a 4G variant.
There was little information about the Galaxy A13 5G, but it has been confirmed that it will come with a 50MP ISOCELL JN1 sensor. This is the world’s first 50MP lens for an entry-level device, and the Redmi 10 also features this lens.
The sources also claim that the device will be priced almost the same as the Galaxy A12, making it Samsung’s most affordable 5G phone. There is no information about the launch of this phone yet, but we can expect it to be available by the end of this year (2021).
