Samsung Galaxy M12 and F12 get certified by Bluetooth SIG

Today, a new Samsung device appeared on the Bluetooth SIG website. The device’s model number is SM-M127F/DS, and its name (Galaxy M12) was also mentioned in the certification.

According to the certification documents, the device supports Bluetooth 5.0, which is still not the latest Bluetooth version. Based on the model number, the device should be named Galaxy M12s, but as mentioned in the certification, we will refer to it as Galaxy M12.

This device has been found to have the following model numbers:

  • SM-M127F/DS (Global Dual-SIM)
  • SM-M127G/DS (Maybe Middle-East Dual-SIM Version)
  • SM-F127G/DS (Galaxy F12 with Dual-SIM)
  • SM-M127F/DSN (Asian Dual-SIM)

According to the model numbers, the device may also be launched as Galaxy F12 in some regions. Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. is the applicant for this certification.

Previous reports indicated that the Galaxy M12 will feature a new rear design. Unlike its predecessor, the device will come with a 6.7-inch U-shaped notch display (Infinity-V) and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor integrated into the lock button.

This phone will also feature a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The rear camera module has a square design and contains four lenses. It is rumored that the phone will feature a massive 7000mAh battery.

There is currently no information on the Galaxy M12’s release date, but leaks suggest the phone will be launched soon.
