Galaxy Tab S8 Series Would Feature Snapdragon 898 Chipset, Also Supports 45W Charging

Reports claim that after the new Galaxy Z Series launch, Samsung is now focusing on two more lineup: the Galaxy Tab S8 series and Galaxy S21 FE. The leaks regarding both lineups are at the top these days. Recently, some exclusive news regarding the upcoming Galaxy Tab S8 series has been revealed.

This afternoon,  the famous Samsung leakster @IceUniverse revealed that the upcoming Galaxy Tab S8 series would feature the new flagship chipset Snapdragon 898 from Qualcomm. There would be no version equipped with Exynos 2200 chipset. The last year’s Galaxy Tab S7 series was also equipped with Snapdragon 865 only.

Furthermore, the blogger also posted that the maximum charging power would be the same like the previous year’s model, i.e., 45W (10V/4.5A). But he didn’t mention whether the charger would come out of the box or not. We can probably expect the charger as the manufacturers are currently not removing the chargers with their tablet models.

One more thing is also observed that the blogger has mentioned three models in which the Ultra model is new. It is worth mentioning that the previous Galaxy Tab S7 series only have two models: Standard and the Plus model. It seems that the idea of the Ultra model has been copied from Samsung’s Galaxy S series.

Come to the Snapdragon 898, the new generation of this flagship chipset series is expected to feature more strong cores compared with Snapdragon 888. It is reported that the new Snapdragon 898 has 1x Cortex-X2 Super core, 3x Cortex-A710 Performance Core, and 4x Cortex-A510.

If we talk about the specifications of the Galaxy Tab S8 series, there are no more leaks yet, but we can expect development in the leaks industry in the upcoming months.
