Honor is looking forward to releasing an unannounced entry-level device in its Honor Play 7 series before the end of March. The phone would be the successor to Honor Play 6T, another entry-level model powered by a Dimensity 6020 chipset.
This morning, Honor officially announced that the Honor Play 7T will be launched on March 28. The company also revealed its renders and basic specifications in the announcement.
The Honor Play 7T features a 6.74-inch waterdrop notched LCD display that supports HD+ 1600 x 720 resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.
On the back, there is a dual camera module. It has been officially revealed that this phone will come with a 6,000mAh battery and support 22.5W charging. It is worth mentioning that the charging power has not yet been officially confirmed.
The official announcement also mentions that the phone will be available in 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variants.
According to sources, the Honor Play 7T will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset, a new entry-level SoC from MediaTek. The chipset is based on a 7nm manufacturing process and features two Cortex-A76 cores at 2.2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz.
According to reports, the Honor Play 7T is also available in 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB storage variants. The color option is available in Titanium Silver, Magic Night Black, and Phantom Ocean Blue.
