Honor Play 7T to officially launch on March 28

Honor plans to launch an unannounced entry-level device in the Honor Play 7 series before the end of March. The phone would be the successor to Honor Play 6T, another entry-level phone powered by the Dimensity 6020 chipset.

This morning, Honor announced that the Honor Play 7T will be launched on March 28. Honor also revealed its renders and basic specifications in the announcement.

The Honor Play 7T features a 6.74-inch waterdrop LCD display with a 1600 x 720 HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.

The back of the phone features a dual-camera module. It has been confirmed that the device will come with a 6,000 mAh battery and support 22.5W fast charging. It is worth mentioning that the charging power has not yet been officially confirmed.

The official announcement also mentions that the phone will be available in 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variants.

According to sources, the phone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset. This chipset is manufactured using a 7nm process and features two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz, and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz.

According to reports, the Honor Play 7T is also available in 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB storage variants. The color options are Titanium Silver, Magic Night Black, and Phantom Ocean Blue.
