Honor V40 will not use the Kirin 9000 SoC, but will use the Dimensity 1000+

According to past practices, Honor will launch the new generation of V series smartphones at the end of this year, which is the  Honor V40 series. A few days ago, we reported that the release date of this phone may be just around the corner.

The Honor V40 series will launch three models: V40, V40 Pro, and V40 Pro+. The product lineup is more diverse, covering a wider range of price points. In addition, performance and cameras will be the key features of this phone. However, the most uncertain part of the Honor V40 series is still the chipset.

At present, there is little information about the Honor V40 series, and it is unclear which processor the series will use. Today,  Digital Chat Station revealed that the Honor V40 will not feature the Kirin 9000 processor, but did not disclose which processor the phone will use. It is speculated that the phone may use the Dimensity 1000+ processor.

According to previous reports, the Honor V40 series is expected to be released in mid-December. The device will feature a 120Hz punch-hole FHD display, support 66W wired fast charging, and 40W wireless fast charging. The phone will have a 50MP rear camera.
