Honor X20 with 120Hz display and 66W charging to launch on August 12

Honor officially confirmed the Honor X20 series and announced that it would launch on August 12 at 19:30. A few days ago, we also reported that the live images of this phone had been revealed, but today, some key specifications were also revealed.

As mentioned in the official poster, the Honor X20 will feature 66W wired fast charging. This is probably the same charging technology that Huawei used in its flagship devices, such as the Mate 40 and Nova 8 series.

The Honor X20 uses a chipset based on a 6nm manufacturing process. According to sources, it will be a Dimensity 900 chipset based on the same 6nm process. It has two Cortex-A78 cores (2.4GHz) and six Cortex-A55 cores (2.0GHz) with a Mali-G68 MC4 GPU.

The poster also mentions that the display refresh rate will be 120Hz. The Honor X20 series has two color options: Shiny Blue and White Gradient.

The Honor X20 features a dual-punch-hole display. The design on the back is similar to the body of the Huawei Mate series. It has curved sides and comes in two shades: the center area is a bit darker, while the sides are slightly lighter.

The phone has a circle-shaped camera module in the middle-top that features a triple camera setup with an LED Flash. The primary sensor is 64 million pixels. We expect the officials to reveal more information about the Honor X20 series in the next few days.
