This afternoon, Huami officially confirmed that the Amazfit GTS 2 Mini will be released on December 1.
The company announced on its official Weibo account: ‘The mini tablet born that year is now making a powerful comeback with a lighter, thinner, larger screen, bringing a more enjoyable experience! Amazfit GTS 2 mini, paying tribute to the classic Mini, will meet you on December 1.’
Huang Wang, founder and CEO of Huami Technology, revealed that the upcoming Amazfit GTS 2 mini will be lighter, more refined, more compact, and more youthful.
The promotional video shows that the Amazfit GTS 2 Mini features a square-round dial with a bezel-less design. It is available in black, green, and pink, and the strap colors complement the body tones. There is only one prominent dial button on the right side.
On September 22, Huami launched the Amazfit GTS 2 smartwatch, priced at CNY 999. Judging by the name, this new product will be the Lite version of the Amazfit GTS 2, with a slightly lower positioning and a more affordable price.
Amazfit GTS 2 supports blood oxygen monitoring and 12 professional sports modes, and in the future, it will support up to 90 sports modes. The GTS 2 mini also seems to inherit all these features, but specific details will need to wait for the new product release.
