This morning, Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei Consumer Business and Executive Director of Huawei, announced on Weibo that the global launch event for the Huawei Mate 40 series will be held on October 22.
According to the promotional poster provided by Evleaks, the theme of this launch event is ‘Leap Further Ahead.’ The circular pattern shown in the poster, combined with previous reports, suggests that the Mate 40 series will achieve a major breakthrough in smartphone camera zoom technology.
According to previous reports, the Huawei Mate 40 series is expected to feature 66W fast charging and Kirin 9000 series processors. The phones will include the Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro+, and Mate 40 RS Porsche Design.
In addition, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro+ may feature a large-curvature waterfall display, while the rear camera module may continue the Mate 30’s design. Specific details will be revealed at the launch event on the evening of October 22.
