Huawei Nova 8 SE 5G officially unveiled

Today, Huawei officially opened pre-orders for the Nova 8 SE. Users can now reserve this phone through many Chinese e-commerce websites.

First, this smartphone has two versions. The first version is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 720 chipset, with the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version priced at CNY 2,599; the second version features the MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset, and the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version is priced at CNY 2,699.

Consumers can save CNY 50 by pre-booking for only CNY 1 and get a free selfie stick. The standout features of this phone make it unique among many mobile devices.

This phone adopts a new geometric cubist design and achieves an ultra-thin profile. Huawei’s product manager mentioned that this device has upgraded and optimized all-around structural components, including the battery, screen, antenna, and heat dissipation, resulting in an extremely slim body of 7.46 mm, making it Huawei’s thinnest 5G phone to date.

The phone features adjustable multi-mode standard-body antenna technology, reducing thickness by 0.4 mm without affecting the 5G experience.

The Huawei Nova 8 SE also supports up to 66W fast charging, the same as the Mate 40 series. The company claims that the phone can charge to 60% in just 15 minutes, and fully charge in only 35 minutes.

Huawei’s product manager also stated that the Huawei Nova 8 SE is the first to adopt a single-chip, dual-channel, three-electrode fast-charging solution, offering four significant advantages: larger battery capacity, longer battery life, better stability, and longer cycle lifespan.
