Previously, it was reported that the Huawei Nova 8 SE would feature a 6.53-inch OLED display. The screen resolution will be Full HD+ (possibly 2460 x 1080) with a 60Hz refresh rate. The phone is 7.46mm thick and weighs about 178g.

Other reports indicate that due to internal issues, Huawei’s future devices will no longer use Kirin chips. The Huawei Nova 8 SE is expected to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 720 or Dimensity 800U chipset. Both chipsets are manufactured using a 7nm process.

Compared to the Dimensity 720, the Dimensity 800U has a higher frequency. The Nova 7 SE is powered by a Kirin 820 5G chipset.

The Huawei Nova 8 SE will be launched at an online event on November 5th at 14:00. The price and storage options have not yet been confirmed.
