Back in December 2022, iQOO launched its iQOO 11 flagship series, which consists of two models, including the Standard and Pro models, and both of them were powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen2. However, it seems the company is looking forward to extending its iQOO 11 series by launching another model.
This morning, the famous blogger @DigitalChatStation revealed that the iQOO is planning to launch another model: iQOO 11S. The smartphone would be positioned as high performance and fast-charging flagship device. It features the same Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset but with a higher core frequency.
In addition, it would also support 200W fast charging like the iQOO 11 Pro and iQOO 10 Pro. The blogger also revealed the display and camera specifications which are the same as in standard iQOO 11. The iQOO 11S will feature an E6 AMOLED Flat Panel Display with 2K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate.
The camera setup would include the 50MP Primary lens with a Vivo V2 ISP chip. It is worth mentioning that the iQOO 11 standard model features a triple camera setup including a 50MP Primary lens + 8MP Ultra-Wide lens and 13MP Telephoto lens, and on the front side, it features a 16MP lens.
If we look at the chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 higher frequency edition would feature the same core architecture. The chipset is based on TSMC’s 2nd Generation 4nm manufacturing process and features 1x Cortex-X3 Super Core, 2x Cortex-A715 and 2x Cortex-A710 P-Cores, and 3x Cortex-A510 E-Cores.
The blogger hasn’t mentioned any detail regarding the launch date of iQOO 11, but it is expected to launch in the coming month or two.
