In December 2022, iQOO launched the iQOO 11 series with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which includes the iQOO 11 and iQOO 11 Pro. However, the company seems to be looking forward to expanding this series with the launch of another device.
This morning, Digital Chat Station revealed that iQOO is planning to launch the iQOO 11S. The smartphone will be positioned as a flagship device with high performance and fast charging. It is powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset but with a higher core frequency.
It will also support 200W fast charging like the iQOO 11 and iQOO 10 Pro. The blogger also revealed the phone has the same display and camera specifications as the iQOO 11. The iQOO 11S will have an E6 AMOLED flat display with a 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.
The camera module will include a 50MP primary lens with a Vivo V2 ISP chip. It is worth mentioning that the iQOO 11 features a triple camera module, including a 50MP primary lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 13MP telephoto lens. On the front, it has a 16MP lens.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 higher frequency edition will feature the same core architecture as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The chipset is based on TSMC’s 2nd-generation 4nm manufacturing process and has one Cortex-X3 super core, two Cortex-A715 cores, two Cortex-A710 cores, and three Cortex-A510 cores.
The blogger didn’t mention any details about the iQOO 11 release date, but it’s expected to be released next month.
