A few days ago, iQOO officially confirmed that the company will launch the iQOO 8 on August 17. As the release time approaches, the company has started revealing the key highlights of this phone.
This afternoon, the company officially revealed that the iQOO 8 will feature the Snapdragon 888 Plus chip, UFS 3.1 storage, and LPDDR5 memory.
The Snapdragon 888 Plus has almost identical specifications to the Snapdragon 888. The Cortex-X1 core has been raised from 2.84GHz to 2.99GHz. The chipset is still based on a 5nm process and features an Adreno 660 GPU.
According to previously reported, the iQOO 8 will feature a new Samsung E5 technology screen for the first time in the industry. The screen will feature a single punch-hole and 2K resolution (~3200x1440p). It will also feature a 1-120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate, natively up to 10-bit color, using the COP package.
It is worth mentioning that the iQOO 8 will be equipped with 16GB of memory, of which 12GB is standard, and 4GB is expandable. The phone will feature an external primary camera and a high-power periscope lens. In addition, it will also support wireless charging.
