A few days ago, iQOO confirmed that the iQOO 8 will be launched on August 17. As the release date approaches, iQOO has begun gradually revealing the key highlights of this phone.
This afternoon, the company revealed that the iQOO 8 will feature the Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset, UFS 3.1 storage, and LPDDR5 memory.
The specifications of the Snapdragon 888 Plus are almost identical to those of the Snapdragon 888. Its Cortex-X1 core frequency has been increased from 2.84 GHz to 2.99 GHz. The chipset is still manufactured using a 5nm process and comes with the Adreno 660 GPU.
According to previous reports, the iQOO 8 will be the first to use a Samsung E5 screen. This screen will have a single punch hole, support 2K resolution (3200 x 1440 pixels), and include 1-120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate technology. It natively supports 10-bit color depth and uses COP packaging technology.
It is worth mentioning that the iQOO 8 will have 16GB of memory, with 12GB of standard memory and 4GB of expandable memory. The phone will feature a 48MP main lens, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 13MP portrait lens.
