This morning, the sub-brand of vivo (iQOO) has made an announcement that the company is all set to extend its Z5 series by launching the all-new iQOO Z5x. The new model will be introduced on October 20. The company has also revealed the backside appearance of the device in the announcement poster.
As observed through naming, we can say that the iQOO Z5x would be another premium mid-range phone like the standard version. Further, the phone adopts a dual-camera solution (50MP+2MP) on the backside (featuring a plain but elegant design).
Previously, the same phone was also listed on different certification sites that revealed almost every main device specification. As reported, the new iQOO Z5x will feature a 6.58 inches Full-HD+ LCD Display with support of a 120Hz refresh rate. The display also sports an 8MP selfie camera.
With an 8.5mm thickness and 189g weight, we can say that the holding experience of the device would also be great. It is worth mentioning that the new iQOO Z5x would be powered by the latest Dimensity 900 premium mid-range chipset. If buyers want a Snapdragon-powered model, they can go for the standard iQOO Z5 with Snapdragon 778G.
Moreover, the device also uses a combination of 5000mAh Battery and 44W charging, making the battery and charging experience decent in its category. A side fingerprint scanner module is also placed.
The phone would be available in three storage variants: 6+128GB, 8+128GB, and 8+256GB. The starting price is expected around 1400 yuan ($218), while the high-end version might cost up to 2000 yuan ($310).
