A few days before, it was reported that the sub-brand of Vivo (iQOO) had started working on its iQOO Z8 series. In March 2023, iQOO launched its iQOO Z7 series and now after almost 6 months, the company is looking forward to releasing the successor models.
This morning, a new model, “V2312A,” from Vivo, got listed on 3C Certification, which belongs to iQOO Z8x, as per sources. The 3C certification has revealed the charging specifications of iQOO Z8x.
As mentioned, the iQOO Z8x uses the Vivo’s 44W FlashCharge charger which carries the model number “V4440L0A0-CN” and supports charging in following modes: 15W (5V/3A), 18W (9V/2A) and 44W (11V/4A). Compared with iQOO Z7x, the charging power is reduced from 80W to 44W. Except for this, the 3C Certification doesn’t consist of anything.
However, as previously reported, the iQOO Z8 series consists of two models: iQOO Z8 and iQOO Z8x. The standard iQOO Z8 would be powered by Dimensity 8200 chipset, the best from Mediatek in the sub-flagship category. The chipset is based on a 4nm manufacturing process and features 4x Cortex-A78 P-Cores (1x @3.1GHz and 3x @3.0GHz) and Cortex-A55 E-Cores (clocked @2.0GHz).
In other aspects, the smartphone was also reported to be released in Black and Blue colors. In addition, the top variant will feature 12 Gigs of RAM and 512GB of Storage.

The second model iQOO Z8x is reportedly powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen1 chipset, the highest option in the Snapdragon 6 series from Qualcomm. The chipset is based on a 4nm manufacturing process and features 4x Cortex-A78 P-Cores (clocked @2.2GHz) and 4x Cortex-A55 E-Cores (clocked @1.8GHz).
At the moment, there is no official announcement regarding the launch of the iQOO Z8 series. However, it is expected to release at the beginning of next month (September 2023).
