Motorola is all set to launch its Motorola Edge S on January 26. The phone’s main highlight is its Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset.
Today, the general manager of Lenovo Mobile in China revealed the Motorola Edge S’s AnTuTu Benchmark scores. This is the first benchmark for a smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 870.
The Motorola Edge S has scored a total of 679860 points, which is more than the score of the Snapdragon 865+ (around 620K on the ASUS ROG Phone 3). The Snapdragon 870 has a 0.1GHz higher frequency than the Snapdragon 865+ on the Cortex-A77 performance core.
The general manager also stated: “The running score is not completely equivalent to the daily use scene. No matter how good the score is, it only represents a part of the hard power. Only with soft power can everyone get a smooth and brisk experience. A practical, convenient, and comfortable environment is the most important. I have confidence in Edge S hardware and software.”
The Motorola Edge S is known to have a Full-HD+ dual punch-hole display, which is about 6.7 inches.
The back of the phone will use a 64-megapixel primary lens. On the front, there are dual 16-megapixel cameras. The phone will come with a 5000mAh battery.
