It was known that Motorola is all set to launch its Motorola Edge S on the 26th of January. This model’s main highlight is that it is equipped with Qualcomm’s newly launched flagship chipset, “Snapdragon 870”, a better version of Snapdragon 865+.
Today, another highlight has been revealed the upcoming Motorola Edge S. The General Manager of Lenovo Mobile in China has revealed the AnTuTu Benchmark scores of Motorola Edge S (equipped with the Snapdragon 870). This is the first benchmark of a smartphone, powered by Snapdragon 870.
The Motorola Edge S has scored a total of 679860 points, which is more than the score of Snapdragon 865+ (around 620K on ASUS ROG Phone 3). The Snapdragon 870 has a 0.1GHz more frequency than the Snapdragon 865+ on the Cortex-A77 performance core.
The General Manager also stated:
“The running score is not completely equivalent to the daily use scene. No matter how good the score is, it only represents a part of the hard power. Only with the blessing of soft power can everyone get a silky smooth, brisk experience. A practical, convenient and comfortable environment is the most important. I have confidence in Edge S hardware and software.”
It is known that the all-new Motorola Edge S would be equipped with a Full-HD+ (2400x1080p) Dual Punch-Hole Display, which sizes about 6.7 inches.
In terms of camera, the phone will use a 64MP primary lens on the backside. While on the front side, a dual 16MP camera is also there. Inside the phone, a 5000mAh Battery has been equipped.
The all-new Motorola Edge S will be launched on the 26th of January.
