As always, when a new phone launch approaches, the manufacturer usually reveals the specifications first. Today, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau revealed the OnePlus 8 T’s size and weight.
According to the CEO, the new OnePlus 8T is only 8.4mm thick and weighs around 188g. The CEO also mentioned that this phone will be one of the few lightweight flagship phones on the market this year.
Compared to the OnePlus 8 5G, this phone seems to have been downgraded in terms of thickness and weight. The OnePlus 8 5G measured 8mm thick and weighed about 180g, which is slightly less than the OnePlus 8T.
We have already reported that the OnePlus 8T will feature a 2.5D AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display has a single punch hole.
The phone will also feature a quad-camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor. The camera also supports OIS, offers a 14-26mm zoom range, and comes with a dual-LED flash.
The device will also be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ chipset, an octa-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 3.1GHz. It has a 4500 mAh battery and supports 65W fast charging. It can charge the battery to 70% in just 20 minutes.
The phone will now be launched at an online event on October 15. However, the pricing and storage options are still not confirmed.
