This morning, Pete Lau, CEO of OnePlus Technology, announced on Weibo that the OnePlus 9 series will come with a two-year official warranty.
Pete Lau said, ‘Today, I have decided to announce a decision that may upset the industry: the OnePlus 9 series will enjoy a two-year official warranty service! This is twice as long as the industry standard warranty period.’
Pete Lau pointed out that survey data shows the replacement cycle for mobile phones is about two years. So this is equivalent to buying our new product, and almost the entire life cycle of use is covered by the official warranty.
Previously, Redmi offered an 18-month warranty for the Redmi Note 7. Now, the OnePlus 9 offers a 2-year warranty for high-end phones, which is currently the longest official warranty period in the industry.
The OnePlus 9 series launch event will be held at 2:00 PM on March 24 at the Shanghai Oriental Sports Center.
According to previous reports, the OnePlus 9 series will have an IMX789 main camera, support 4K 120fps video recording, and be able to capture up to 68.7 billion colors in 12-bit RAW format.
Additionally, OnePlus will introduce the Hasselblad Pro Mode, designed specifically for professional users. Beyond allowing adjustments to shutter speed, ISO sensitivity, white balance, and other parameters, it also enables fast and precise focusing through its peak focus feature.
