OnePlus 9 series core specifications announced: Snapdragon 888 SoC, LPDDR5 memory, and UFS 3.1 storage

The OnePlus 9 series launch event will be held on March 24. OnePlus revealed that the event theme is ‘There is always a story seen by images,’ suggesting the phones will focus on photography features. On March 18, Pete Lau, CEO of OnePlus Technology, announced the specifications of the OnePlus 9 series.

The OnePlus 9 series will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. This chipset is manufactured using a 5nm process and is currently the most powerful mobile processor. In addition, it comes with LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1 storage.

In addition, OnePlus has optimized the phone’s internal architecture and adopted a new cooling system. Tests have shown that when running large games, the body temperature is lower and the game frame rate is more stable.

It is reported that the OnePlus 9 series features the Hasselblad mobile imaging system, which is the Hasselblad Natural Color Optimizer jointly developed by OnePlus and Hasselblad, allowing each photo to present natural and pleasing colors. The Hasselblad Pro Mode is designed for professional users, offering flexible adjustments to shutter speed, ISO sensitivity, white balance, and other parameters.

The OnePlus 9 series is confirmed to adopt dual main cameras. One of the main camera lenses will use an IMX789 sensor. The wide-angle lens will use the IMX766 ultra-wide sensor.
