Today, a new phone (from OPPO) has been spotted on the China Telecom site. The phone has a model number OPPO PEHM00 and has a marketing name OPPO A93 5G. The model was also previously spotted on 3C Certification.
The listing of the device on the China Telecom site has revealed its specifications, price, and storage variants.
It can be seen that the OPPO A93 5G is equipped with a 6.5 Inches Single Punch-Hole Curved Display, having a Full-HD+ resolution (2400x1080p). It is not mentioned whether it is an AMOLED Display or an LCD. This may likely be an AMOLED Display as the 4G version uses an AMOLED Display too.
The phone is packed with glass on the back and has dimensions of about 162.9*74.7*8.4mm – the whole device weighs around 188g. The device also got a 3.5mm headphone jack with a USB Type-C port.
The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 480 5G chipset, which was launched recently. The chipset is the only 5G supported chipset in its series (SD 400 series). It is based on an 8nm manufacturing process and has a maximum frequency of about 2.0 GHz.
Inside the phone, there is a 5000mAh Battery. The phone was also previously spotted on 3C Certification, which confirmed that the phone would support 18W maximum fast charging.
In terms of camera, the phone comes with a triple (48+2+2MP) camera setup packed in a rectangle-shaped bump. On the front side, there is an 8MP lens in the single punch-hole of the display. The phone is also equipped with a side fingerprint scanner.
The OPPO A93 5G is available in only one storage variant: 8+256GB priced at 2199 Yuan (Equivalent to 340 USD). There are three color options for this model: Aurora, Dazzling Black, Elegant Silver.
The phone is set to be launched on 15th January, as mentioned on the listing.
