Back in December 2021, OPPO revealed its first-ever foldable phone named “OPPO Find N.” However, it was also rumored through some sources (from the industry) that OPPO might launch a new foldable phone which would be a vertically foldable phone just like Samsung’s Z Flip lineup and Huawei’s P50 Pocket.
This morning, the famous blogger @DigitalChatStation (on Weibo) revealed the expected specifications of OPPO’s upcoming flip phone. Before discussing the specifications, it is worth mentioning that this foldable device would have the following naming: “OPPO Find Flip.”
As per the blogger, the OPPO Find Flip will feature two displays; the first one is a 6.8 inches primary OLED Display with Full-HD+ (2520*1080p) resolution. The secondary display is a 3.26 inches OLED display, which seems to be a cover screen which would act as a notification bar, as we have seen in Galaxy Z Flip 4.
In terms of camera specifications, the OPPO Find Flip will feature a 32MP Sony IMX709 sensor on the front side; the blogger hasn’t mentioned whether in what way the camera module is placed (in a punch-hole or a display’s notch). As per our expectations, the display would have a punch hole for the front camera.
On the backside, the OPPO Find Flip will feature a dual camera setup, including the 50MP Sony IMX766 and 8MP Sony IMX355 lenses. Inside the phone, the OPPO Find Flip features a 4190mAh battery (4300mAh typical rating). Except for these specifications, other things like chipset and charging power are unknown.
Currently, there is no news regarding the launch of OPPO Find Flip from the official site. However, the launch can be expected after the Qualcomm 2022 summit as OPPO would most probably use the latest flagship chipset (like Snapdragon 8 Gen2) on its upcoming foldable flagship phone.
