A few weeks ago, OPPO launched the OPPO K9 Pro with the Dimensity 1200 chipset, which costs $370.
Recent news claims that the company is looking forward to launching a new device in the K9 series with mid-range specs. This morning, the famous Chinese blogger Digital Chat Station revealed that the OPPO K9s will also be available soon.
The blogger also mentioned the specifications and renders of the device. The OPPO K9s is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset, a mid-range chipset based on a 6nm process.
This smartphone features a 6.59-inch single punch-hole LCD display with a full HD (1080p) resolution and a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The OPPO K9s weighs 199g and has a thickness of 8.52 mm.
The phone has a 16MP lens on the front. It has the same triple-lens design as the OPPO K9 series symbolic design (64MP+8MP+2MP) on the back. The phone has a 5000mAh battery and supports 30W fast charging.
The phone will also be available in two memory storage variants: 6 GB and 8 GB. Other highlights include a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a side fingerprint scanner, and an X-axis linear motor.
The device has yet to be officially launched, but the company is expected to announce the release date and pricing soon.
