This morning, the company announced that the Realme Book will be unveiled on August 18 at 15:00. At the same time, Realme will announce the Realme 828 Global Fan Festival event at the launch event.
In the official post, the company also mentioned “Reshaping creativity, a thin and lightweight laptop with performance.” The company means that the Realme Book will be a slim laptop with strong performance.
According to previous reports, the Realme Book will be similar to Apple’s MacBook Air. It will feature a three-sided narrow bezel display with a sunken hinge. The keyboard area is well-designed and includes a large touchpad.
The Realme Book will feature a 14-inch LED display with full HD resolution and a 3:2 aspect ratio. The device will be powered by Intel’s 11th-generation Core processors. The base version will use a Core i3 processor, while the high-end version will use a Core i5 processor.
The left side will have two USB Type-C ports, while the right side will have a USB Type-A port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. One of the Type-C ports is expected to support the Thunderbolt protocol. The charging power is 65 watts (according to 3C certification).
It is reported that this laptop will be made of aluminum alloy and will be available in four colors: silver, red, blue, and yellow. The 8GB RAM with 512GB storage version is expected to be priced at around $675.
