Realme Q5 Series Officially Confirmed to Launch on April 20

It’s been almost a year since Reame hasn’t updated its Realme Q series, consisting of both mid-range and sub-flagship level devices. However, the latest news in the industry denotes that the successor model is also on the way.

This morning, Realme has made an official announcement regarding its upcoming Realme Q5 series (on Weibo) that the company is all set to introduce the new models on April 20 (next Wednesday) at 2 PM (Chinese Timing) in a launch event.

As per officials, the models in this series would be a lot faster in terms of speed. However, a flagship or a sub-flagship chipset is expected to be featured in both models (standard and Pro). Except for all this, the official poster doesn’t have any more helpful information.

Regarding the specifications, it is expected that the new Realme Q5 Pro would feature a larger 6.62 inches AMOLED Display with Full-HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Inside the phone, the Snapdragon 870 well-known sub-flagship, would be featured in addition to UFS 3.1 Storage and LPDDR5 Memory.

In terms of camera, the module would be similar to Realme GT Neo2 and features three lenses (64MP+8MP+2MP). While on the front, there would be a single 16MP lens. The specifications of the standard model are currently unknown. However, its specifications would be lower than the Pro version.

Currently, it is expected that Realme will start revealing the significant highlights of the phone in the coming days.
