Redmi 9 Render And Specification Leaked: Helio G80 And Quad Camera Setup

Today, the blogger @Digital Chat Station (on weibo.com) has revealed all the specifications of unannounced Redmi 9. He also leaked the photo of Redmi 9.

According to the blogger, the Redmi 9 is equipped with a 6.53 inches LCD screen having a waterdrop notch. The display also has a Full-HD+ resolution. There is an average-sized chin at the bottom of the display. On the back, the material seems like regular plastic.

On the right side, it got a power button with volume up and down buttons. At the bottom, it also got a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C port, which might support fast charging. Moreover, it also has an infrared hole for controlling electronic equipment.

Inside the phone, it is powered by Helio G80 chipset. The “Helio G80” is an octa-core chipset based on 12nm production. It sports two Cortex-A75 power cores clocked at 2.0 GHz, and six energy-efficient cores clocked at 1.8 GHz. The Redmi 9 has a built-in battery of 5020 mAh. The phone supports only 4G and lowers network connection.

Talk about the camera specifications; it got a single 8MP front camera in the waterdrop notch. On the back, there is a quad camera setup. The primary camera uses a 13MP sensor. Then we have an 8MP (ultra-wide angle lens) + 5MP (depth lens) + 2MP (maybe telephoto or macro lens). The first three cameras are arranged vertically in the middle-top of the phone with a fingerprint scanner under them. The 4th camera is placed a little right with a LED flash.

According to some leaks, the phone will be available in two variants: 3+32GB for 139.99 USD and 4+64GB for 149.99 USD. Moreover, in pictures, it can be seen that the phone will be available in three colors: Green, Purple, and Black-Grey.

The Redmi 9 will be an entry-level 4G device with Helio G80 chipset. The phone is not yet announced by Redmi, but it is expecting that the phone will be launched this month as Redmi has already launched the Redmi Note9 series. That’s why the launch of Redmi 9 is expected soon.
