Recently, it was reported that, in addition to the Redmi 10X, Redmi will also launch a new phone, the Redmi K30i 5G. This phone will be a light and affordable version of the Redmi K30 series.
On May 25, the Redmi K30i 5G appeared on JD.com. The phone is currently available for pre-sale, and users can deposit CNY 100 to get a total discount of CNY 100. The phone is priced at CNY 1,899 ($266), making it the cheapest 5G phone in Redmi’s history.
The Redmi K30i 5G features a 6.67-inch punch-hole display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 765G 5G and also supports dual 5G mode. It also has a 4500mAh battery and supports 30W fast charging.
The phone features a quad-camera setup on the back, including a 48MP main lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a depth lens. The front dual-camera system includes a 20MP lens.
The Redmi K30i 5G will be available in a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. This time, the phone is available in two colors: Deep Sea Shimmer and White. It also has a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Some specifications will be revealed on the day the phone is launched. The Redmi K30i 5G will officially go on sale on June 7.
