Redmi K50 Gaming specs revealed with Dimensity 9000, 5000mAh battery, and more

Last week, MediaTek officially introduced its Dimensity 9000 series chipset, which also scored around 1 million points on the Antutu Benchmark. Moreover, Lu Weibing (the General Manager of Redmi) has also begun to talk about the Dimensity 9000 chipset frequently, and it has been concluded that the upcoming Redmi flagship Redmi K50 series would feature this chipset.

The latest developments also show that the company is working on the upcoming successor to the Redmi K series, equipped with a Dimensity 9000 chipset. This morning, the famous blogger Digital Chat Station revealed the significant specifications of the Redmi K50 Gaming Enhanced Edition.

According to the blogger, Redmi’s upcoming gaming phone will be powered by the Dimensity interactive high-performance platform, most probably the Dimensity 9000 chipset. The device also features a flexible punch-hole display with a higher refresh rate and an integrated optical fingerprint scanner.

The upcoming phone also uses a right-angle middle frame design to improve its overall body, a 64MP primary camera (placed in a rectangular camera module), and a larger 5000mAh battery for a more extended battery backup while gaming.

According to previous news, the Redmi K50 series will feature four models, the I10, I10A, I11, and I11R, and will be launched in the first quarter of 2022.
