Redmi K50 Gaming Specs Revealed: Dimensity 9000, 5000mAh Battery, and Many More

Last week, MediaTek officially introduced its all-new Dimensity 9000 series chipset (based on 4nm TSMC Process), which also scored around 1 million points on the Benchmark test. Moreover, Lu Weibing (the General Manager of Redmi) has also begun to frequently talk about the Dimensity 9000 chipset, through which it has been concluded that the upcoming Redmi flagship models (Redmi K50 series) would feature this chipset.

Not only that, the latest developments are showing that the company is now working on the upcoming Redmi K series’ successor, equipped with Dimensity 9000 chipset. This morning, the famous blogger @DigitalChatStation has revealed the significant specifications of the forthcoming Redmi K50 Gaming Enhanced Edition.

As per the blogger, Redmi’s upcoming gaming phone will be powered by the Dimensity interactive high-performance platform, most probably the Dimensity 9000 chipset. Moreover, the device also features a flexible punch-hole display with a higher refresh rate and an integrated optical fingerprint scanner.

In addition, the upcoming model also uses a right-angle middle frame design for making an overall improved designed body, a 64MP primary camera (placed in a rectangular camera module), and a larger 5000mAh battery for a more extended battery backup while gaming.

As per previous news, the Redmi K50 series will feature four models with the following model numbers: I10, I10A, I11, and I11R. Moreover, some models will also be powered by Qualcomm’s chipset instead of the Dimensity chipset.

It is expected that the new Redmi K50 series will be launched in the first quarter of 2022. It is also worth mentioning that the last year’s Redmi K40 Gaming Edition was rebranded as Poco F3 GT in some regions; that’s why a newer model from Xiaomi, Poco F4 GT, is also expected.
