It is reported that the Redmi Note 9 series is scheduled to launch in the middle of this month. The series will include three devices. The high-end version will feature a 108MP Samsung HM2 sensor.
Today, Digital Chat Station revealed real photos of the LCD panel of the high-end version of the Redmi Note 9. The blogger pointed out that the single-hole opening size is almost on par with mainstream flagship phones, and if the bezel area is included, the actual installed size will reach approximately 3.8mm ±.
The blogger also stated: ‘Next year, the opening size of mainstream phones will mostly be between 2.4mm ± and 2.9mm ±. With small-diameter lens modules and 0.7μm CIS sensors, selfie performance will not be an issue.’
Previously, two new Xiaomi phones appeared on the 3C certification website. Both models belong to the Redmi Note 9 series, namely the Note 9 and the Note 9 Pro. The Note 9 Pro will support 33W fast charging, while the Note 9 will support 25W charging.
This smartphone is expected to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor. The high-end version will feature a Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor. The sensor measures 1/1.52 inches, has a unit pixel size of 0.7 μm, and supports 9-pixel binning (equivalent to 2.1 μm).
The company recently launched different versions of the Redmi Note 9 series worldwide, but this new version seems to have significant differences from the global version.
