How to install tips:
1. Unlock two latches to remove the battery.
2. Remove two screws securing the service cover. Pull the drive out and remove it from the base.
3. With the service cover removed, remove four screws securing the hard drive. Lift up the back side of the hard drive using the tab on the shielding.
4. Remove all screws securing the bottom case.
5. Flip over the laptop and insert a guitar pick between the bottom case and the palm rest. Slide the pick to separate the palm rest from the bottom case.
6. Lift up the top case to access the cables. You will find the keyboard cable and the touchpad cable connected to the motherboard.
7. Disconnect the keyboard and touchpad cable from the motherboard. Now you can remove the palm rest.
8. Remove three screws securing the cooling fan and disconnect the fan cable. Now the fan can be removed.
