1. Please remove the existing fan from your laptop to compare the part number, photo, and description.
2. To replace the fan, you must remove the bottom cover and disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard.
3. Disconnect the fan cable from the system board and remove the two Phillips M2.0×4.0 screws that secure the fan to the computer.
4. You can go to the HP website to download the hardware maintenance manual for this laptop, and then follow the instructions in the manual to replace it.
