3. To remove the keyboard from your laptop, remove one screw securing the service cover, slide the service door latch to the right, and lift the service door away from the laptop.
4. Slide the latch to the left that secured the battery to the laptop. Lift up the tab to remove the battery.
5. Remove the three Phillipsscrews that secure the keyboard to the laptop.
6. Insert a screwdriver into the hole near the vent, and then press on the back of the keyboard until it disengages from the laptop.
7. Place the keyboard on your top cover and disconnect the keyboard cable, backlit cable, and pointing stick cable.
