We have seen that the Vivo S18 series has been unveiled in the past few days. However, Vivo has not made any official announcements until now.
This morning, Vivo announced that the Vivo S18 series will be launched on December 14. The poster also reveals its camera module design.
The Vivo S18 Pro has a triple camera system in a square module. Below the camera module is a ring-shaped LED flash. A few moments after the official announcement, the general manager of Vivo also revealed the specifications of the S18 series.
According to the general manager, the S18 Pro will be powered by the Dimensity 9200 chipset. The phone also scored over 1.6 million points in the Antutu benchmark, suggesting the phone will deliver strong performance.
The phone will feature the same 50MP Sony IMX920 lens, 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and the same telephoto lens as the Vivo X90S. The front uses a dual-camera module, including a 50MP wide-angle lens.
The S18 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. This chipset belongs to the mid-range segment and scored over 1 million points in the AnTuTu benchmark.
Finally, the general manager also mentioned that the S18 series will feature a 120Hz screen and a 5,000 mAh battery. Vivo is expected to tease more highlights about the Vivo S18 series in the coming days.
