This morning (at 3 AM), Vivo has officially announced that they are all set to launch the new generation of Vivo’s S series (Vivo S9 series) on 3rd March. It is also reported that the famous Chinese female singer Lisa has endorsed the phone.

It is observed that the new Vivo S9 series would be different from the previous generation device. One of the most famous Vivo S7 series lines, “illuminating your beauty,” is now changed to “illuminating my beauty.”

It can also be seen that the official small tail “flagship of the thin and light selfie” (from vivo S7 series) has been changed to “very night soft light selfie.” It is expected that this time the front camera would be the main highlight of the phone.

Previously, it was reported that Vivo S9 would be the world’s first Dimensity 1100 powered smartphone. The Dimensity 1100 is a sub-flagship chipset based on a 6nm manufacturing process. The chipset has a maximum frequency of 2.6GHz with a Cortex-A78 core.

The phone is also expected to be equipped with a 6.44-inches display, which further supports a 90Hz refresh rate. A built-in 4000mAh battery is also expected to be equipped, which also supports 33W Flash Charging.

The Vivo S9 is expected to use a 44MP Samsung GH1 sensor as the primary camera, an ultra-wide-angle camera, and the world’s first front micro-slit double soft light.

The all-new Vivo S9 will be launched on 3rd March.
