For a long time, there have been rumors that Vivo is working on its first tablet, but until now there has been no official news or information leaked. However, the company’s vice president confirmed that the tablet will launch in the first half of 2022, and now it seems that the launch time is very close.
Recently, the well-known Chinese blogger Digital Chat Station revealed that the Vivo tablet will not be positioned at the flagship level. It will be a sub-flagship or lower-level tablet.
The blogger also mentioned that the tablet will feature the Snapdragon 870 chipset. However, the device’s performance seems to be a bit behind, as the chipset is almost a year old.
Using a chipset like the Snapdragon 888 or Dimensity 1200 would have been a better choice. However, the Snapdragon 870 still has a decent performance for multitasking.
The tablet also has a 120Hz display with minimal bezels. The front camera will be placed in the top bezel. It has a 7860mAh battery and supports 44W fast charging.
The tablet’s appearance was also revealed through a patent. It indicates that the tablet will feature the company’s signature camera module design.
It is confirmed that the Vivo tablet will be launched before the first half of 2022, and the expected price is around CNY 2000 ($315).
