Xiaomi 12 Will Feature 4500mAh Battery With 67W Fast Charging Support

After the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 flagship chipset launch, the leaks and rumors of Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship series, the Xiaomi 12 series, are now on the top. This series is also included in the first batch of Snapdragon 8 Gen1 powered smartphones.

Recently, another major phone highlight has been revealed by the famous Chinese blogger @Digital Chat Station. As per the blogger, the standard Xiaomi 12 will feature a 4500mAh battery along with 67W fast charging support. The device is also expected to feature a wireless charging feature as well.

It is worth mentioning that the charging power has increased significantly compared to the previous standard Xiaomi Mi 11 (which got 55W fast charging). In terms of battery capacity, it has been decreased around 100mAh (Mi 11 features 4600mAh Battery).

As previously reported, there would be three models in the upcoming Xiaomi 12 flagship series: Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Xiaomi 12X. The standard and X versions will feature the same 67W fast charging technology, while the Pro model now features a higher 120W super fast charging.

In terms of chipset, only the Mi 12X will feature a lower (if compared with both other phones) Snapdragon 870 sub-flagship chipset, while the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro will feature the all-new Snapdragon 8 Gen1 flagship chipset.

It is also reported that all three models from Xiaomi 12 flagship series feature the all-new OLED Flexible Screens manufactured by Weiqu, which also supports a higher refresh rate up to 120Hz. The new Xiaomi 12 flagship series is expected to be launched before the end of this year (2021).
